Built for Indian apartment communities
Know who is at the gatebefore they step inside.
Gateora gives guards a faster way to register visitors, residents a simple way to approve them, and management a complete record of every entry — with approval rules enforced on the server.
One controlled path from arrival to entry

How it works
Approval first. Entry second.
Follow every visitor from gate registration to a verified, fully recorded entry.
- 01
At the gate
Guard registers the visitor
At the gate, the guard selects the flat, records the visitor's name and purpose, and takes a photo if your community requires one.
- 02
Notify
The household is notified
Verified residents of that flat get a notification and see the visitor's details and photo in the app.
- 03
Decision
A resident approves or rejects
Entry needs an explicit approval from an eligible resident. Rejections and timeouts are final — the gate cannot override them.
- 04
Complete
Entry and exit are recorded
The guard admits the visitor only after the server confirms the approval. Entry and exit times are logged permanently.
Features
One platform. Every gate workflow.
Purpose-built tools for guards, residents and management — connected by one secure approval system.
- Core security
Strict resident approval
Every walk-in visitor needs approval from a verified resident of the destination flat, enforced by the server — not just by the app.
- Server enforced
- Resident verified
- Fully audited
- Mobile workflow
One app for guards and residents
Large, simple gate screens for guards; a clear approval inbox for residents. English, Hindi and Odia.
- Privacy controls
Private visitor photos
Photos are stored privately, shown only to the household and on-duty guards through links that expire in minutes, and deleted on schedule.
- Access passes
Guest passes & regular staff
Residents pre-approve guests with one-time codes. Maids, drivers and vendors get schedule-bound recurring access.
- Resilient access
Offline gate mode
Optional, signed single-use passes let gates keep working through outages, then reconcile automatically when back online.
- Emergency response
Audited emergency access
Ambulance or fire? Authorised staff can record an emergency entry with a reason — management is alerted and every override is reviewed.
- Operations
Multi-community console
Manage communities, towers, flats, gates, guards and shifts. Bulk-import residents and verify occupancy before access starts.
- Accountability
Reports & audit trail
Search visitor history, export controlled reports with masked phone numbers, and keep a tamper-resistant audit log.

Security & privacy
Trust is built into every entry.
Approval rules, data access and sensitive actions are enforced on the server—then recorded in a complete audit trail.
Tenant isolation
Each organisation's data is separated and every request is authorised on the server. Cross-community access is refused and logged.
Approval you can trust
Approval and entry are separate, atomic steps. A visitor can be checked in only once, and only while the approval is valid.
Privacy by default
Minimum visitor data collected, phone numbers masked, photos never in notifications, and data deleted on a retention schedule.
Pricing
Simple plans that grow with your community
Priced per organisation, with clear limits on communities, flats and staff. Gates never stop working because of a billing issue.
FAQ
Questions communities ask us
Can a guard let someone in without a resident's approval?
No. Ordinary entry requires an approval from a verified resident of the destination flat (or a resident-issued guest pass), and the server checks it before entry is recorded. The only exception is an emergency override, which is limited to roles your community authorises, needs a reason and an incident reference, alerts management and is reviewed afterwards.
What happens if the resident doesn't respond?
Each request has an approval window (15 minutes by default, configurable per community). If nobody approves in time the request expires and the visitor cannot be admitted through the normal flow. The guard can register a new request if needed.
Who can see visitor photos?
Only verified residents of the flat being visited and guards on duty at that community. Photos are delivered through private links that expire within minutes, are never attached to notifications or emails, and are deleted after the retention period (30 days by default).
Does Gateora work when the internet is down?
Communities on a plan with offline gate mode can enable it. While online, the guard's device receives signed single-use passes for already-approved visitors; if the network drops, those visitors can still be checked in and the records reconcile automatically when connectivity returns. New approvals always need a connection.
How do residents join?
Your management sends invitations (or bulk-imports a resident list). Residents sign in with the verified email the invitation was sent to, and their access starts only after management verifies occupancy.
Make every entry an approved entry.
